catch up....

I will be playing catch up to share a lot of pictures from the past few months! Enjoy them!!

First up....CAMPING!! Well...sort of. More like a tent on the deck style camping. It worked, she was thrilled, and cannot wait to do it again!! She doesn't understand that sleeping on a hot deck with it 90 degrees outside may not be enjoyable! This evening, it got down in the 50's and it was perfect!! She stayed up late enough to see the stars in the sky and use her flashlight! She made it the entire night, and slept late the next morning!! Mostly, she enjoyed the snacks :-) Whats a camping trip without unhealthy snacks right?

Just checking in....and catching up!

O...this little love!!!

I could just eat her up! Actually, I do! Most days, we spend all day just basking in her wonderfulness (probably not a word, but you get the point)!

Each day I wake up to her sweet face, usually stroking my face itching to get up; with a few inserts of "I love you mommy" in there! We start our days early and the minute her feet hit the floor, she's up! When she was little, she would lounge around for a few minutes before getting going, but now - she is up and ready to go! She is starting to eat breakfast a bit more, but she likes to graze!

Lately, we have been doing "school" for about 30 minutes a day. She loves it and it too smart! Our neighbors are home schooled, so the idea of school is fun to her! We work on letters and numbers now, because she has just about mastered colors and shapes. One of her favorite movies right now is "Letter Factory." She would watch it all the time!
Speaking of movies, she still is not really into TV. Occasionally, she watching an episode of Mickey. We have introduced her to movies here and there, but just not quite interested yet. However, the one movie she actually sits for a few minutes of is Tangled...what an adorable movie! It is on our tv pretty often!

Logan still LOVES music and anything to do with music. I wish I knew more so I could really encourage her learning in this area, but I don't. We expose her to a lot of music and she really wants a violin - maybe one day! I truly feel like if she had the right teaching, she could play. She is so musically talented that it's crazy.

Her favorite activity is gymnastics.

She is really awesome at it! To have just turned 3, her skill level is awesome! She has an awesome teacher who has done wonders for her in so many ways! I just adore her, and thank her so much for the time she spends with Logan - she makes her feel like a rockstar, even on off days :-)

We tested out soccer this Spring - she wasn't into it! I am still happy we tried, I intend to expose her to a lot of stuff, and let her decide what she wants to do! Just a hunch - she probably won't be a little soccer player :-) She still looked pretty cute in all of her "gear."

Logan has the biggest heart and an awesome sense of humor. She is a joy to be around - I am so blessed to be her Mommy.

Catch up...

O my...I am so far behind on blogging...it's sad. Being an all the time mom, and playing the role of photographer leaves me with little time on Life with Little Logan. However, I find myself saying ALL the time, oh my goodness, I have to write this down - I never want to forget how wonderful she is at this age. So...with the few extra minutes this morning...we get to play catch up!

(pictures from a cupcake making, apron wearing adventure...somehow we didn't end up with 24 cupcakes...)

Logan is really soo well behaved! We couldn't be more proud! She has wonderful manners, uses them appropriately  and is always sweet. Of course she is two, and has two year old moments, but over all she is just wonderful!

Her vocabulary is soooo large. It scares me to think is she speaks so well at 2, what on earth are we going to do with her at 5!! She speaks in complete, full sentences - usually with a large vocabulary word that makes you turn your head to see..."did she really just say that?" She uses words appropriately, and thinks its great when somebody says..."what did she just say.." she just laughs!

She is wise beyond her years, and very mature. In a way this is very nice, but in other ways I want her to stay little forever :-)
3 is going to be.....hard (for me!).

Logan can sing so beautifully. Everyone who hears her is amazed at how well she stays on key, etc..her ability to sing is just precious. I could listen to her all day! Her favorite songs are hymns, and prefers them over kid songs! She knows all the verses to most songs, and can pick up the words of songs within about 3 times of hearing it. She doesn't hesitate for a second standing up in front of our little church and singing her heart out. It is precious.

Our sleeping arrangement....? Well, Logan likes a bed partner...and she usually gets it. Healthy? Im not so sure, but I do know that waking up to her sweet face every morning is priceless - and she won't want me to sleep with her forever, so for right now - I don't mind :-)

We love this little girl!
