It makes me laugh because that is exactly how my husband drove home from the hospital when our preemie was finally discharged. It was the most amazing feeling to be going home but at the same time it was so nerve racking... we felt like our son was a piece of glass that we would break by that time. Your pictures of your daughter are beautiful!! Are you a photographer?? I always try to color my pics similarly in photoshop, but I never succeed lol :)Micro Preemie Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04398740926471834942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6600633350067839929.post-71884241567679457972010-04-11T21:49:21.557-04:002010-04-11T21:49:21.557-04:00This just made me tear up. I can't imagine the kind of bravery and strength you have to have to leave your baby at the hospital, but I guess it is not as hard to do when you know there is no other choice but to leave her in the care of "professionals" 24/7 until she is strong enough to come home with Mommy & Daddy. There is nothing as nerve wracking as the first hospital ride home with a teeny, tiny baby. Connor left the hospital weighing 4 lbs and 3 ounces, and Drew, too, gripped the steering wheel for dear life and drove as slowly as possible! Glad I got to hold her for a minute at church today!! Thanks for waiting on me so that I could see her!Lulu https://www.blogger.com/profile/09385904273995521495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6600633350067839929.post-70872054238595079032010-04-11T21:41:14.724-04:002010-04-11T21:41:14.724-04:00She really is a miracle! She really is a miracle!Snapshotsofhappinesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00612489118050770260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6600633350067839929.post-24217960270108379042010-04-11T21:24:38.591-04:002010-04-11T21:24:38.591-04:00We are all blessed to have a miracle in our lives ...We are all blessed to have a miracle in our lives on a daily basis. My Ethan was born at 37 weeks, but he still spent 15 days in the NICU (2 hours away - we stayed at the Ronald McDonald House) and came home with an apnea monitor for the first 8 months. He's almost 8 now! It goes so fast! ;)

Happy 1 Year Home!!!Carriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16446022584522263644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6600633350067839929.post-34230056120673830682010-04-11T16:57:28.269-04:002010-04-11T16:57:28.269-04:00aww...this post brought tears to my eyes! happy 1 ...aww...this post brought tears to my eyes! happy 1 year!OurLittleBlessingShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00750860192957580697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6600633350067839929.post-80884109338750446162010-04-11T16:44:45.343-04:002010-04-11T16:44:45.343-04:00Happy 1 Year!
